To edit A12 file, we strongly recommend installing software that works with A12 files. Using tools such as A12 Online Editors gives less editing possibilities than software adapted to work with the A12 file format.

Definitely the best solution. Use any of the programs that support the A12 file to check if it allows you to edit the file. It's safest to download the software from the developer's website.
