To edit ICS file, we strongly recommend installing software that works with ICS files. There are many tools known as ICS Online Editors, but it is not certain that they operate in a way that keeps the data contained in the file safe.

This is definitely the surest way. Try to open the ICS file with one of the programs and it will see if you can edit the ICS file.
