To edit J2C file, we strongly recommend installing software that works with J2C files. There are many tools known as J2C Online Editors, but it is not certain that they operate in a way that keeps the data contained in the file safe.
Please note that not every program that supports J2C will allow you to edit the file. Click here for more information on J2C file extension
This is definitely the surest way. Use any of the programs that support the J2C file to check if it allows you to edit the file. It's safest to download the software from the developer's website. Links to the websites of software producers can be found on the software subpages. List of sample programs supporting the J2C file below.

Most of the file formats are simply text format saved under a different extension - so you can open them e.g. with Windows Notepad However, it's dangerous, you can permanently damage your J2C file. If you make inappropriate changes and save the file, it may happen that you do not reopen the J2C file.. It is safest to use software that was created to edit files in the J2C format.
It can definitely be said that any of the list of programs that support the J2C extension should be able to edit the J2C file. However, if for some reason you did not find this option, you can try using tools prepared by external websites. Below are tools that allow you to edit J2C online files.
