How to open RC file?
RC Opener is a type of software that can open a file with the extension RC. Usually, there are also additional options. 9 steps to open RC file
If the user comes across a file named Resource Script, but is unable to open it, the first thing to do is to take the following steps:
- The user must verify that the operating system used by him is compatible with the file Resource Script. It may turn out that RC files are not compatible with your system.
- No default Resource Workshop application in the system or Borland C++, Embarcadero C++Builder, Adobe ExtendScript, Microsoft Visual Studio will prevent you from opening RC files. If there is no such program, install it (or download it earlier).
- Check if files with the extension RC are associated with the application Resource Workshop or one of the programs such as Borland C++, Embarcadero C++Builder, Adobe ExtendScript, Microsoft Visual Studio. If not, open the dialog box with the properties of the Resource Script file and use the "Change" button on the "General" tab. Choose one of the Resource Workshop, Borland C++, Embarcadero C++Builder, Adobe ExtendScript, Microsoft Visual Studio applications to open the RC files.
Software programs that open RC file extension
- If the Resource Script file has been downloaded from the Internet or copied from another medium, it may be corrupt. In this case, although one of the Resource Workshop, Borland C++, Embarcadero C++Builder, Adobe ExtendScript, Microsoft Visual Studio programs is installed, the Resource Script file cannot be opened. Re-downloading or copying the file may fix the problem.
- In case the Resource Script file is infected, the anti-virus program will prevent it from being opened. In this situation, it is recommended to scan all data media in the system for viruses.
- Resource Script is a file that may have been generated by older program versions. The application the user is trying to open the file in may not be backwards compatible and this prevents Resource Script from opening.
- To open the Resource Script file, the current version of the program in which we want to open it is required. Check the app for up-to-date information and, if necessary, install the latest version.
- In some cases, the user initiates the opening of the file with a shortcut that leads to a location where it is not present.
- The inability to open the Resource Script file may be due to restrictions imposed on the user by the system administrator.
