If you choose to install software that supports CBM, you will have additional oppositions, such as converting the CBM file or editing the CBM file.

If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the CBM file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of CBM with a normal "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension CBM.

The second way is to use a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of.
