It often happens that you only need to preview the contents of the CHA file, without the need to edit or process the data contained in it. In this case, it is enough that you use the so-called CHA Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the CHA file. You have several options to view the contents of the CHA file:
Our CHA Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else One of them is to use software that works with the CHA file. Here are some sample programs that can help you. By using the dedicated software you will have more options, e.g. editing the CHA file or converting the CHA file to a different file format.
First of all, you need to know that you need to install specific software that supports CHA files on your computer. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the CHA file online in this case. This solution is more problematic, but also allows for more processing options for the CHA file. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the CHA file - for the full list go to CHA File Opener
If you still cannot see the contents of the CHA file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. A lot of file formats contain plain text data or packed data. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of CHA with a normal "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension CHA.
As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Check if you can open your file with eg Winrar. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. If you don't know what type of CHA file is, learn more about CHA file extension.
