Sometimes you just need to see what is in the CMD file, without having to perform more complicated operations. In this case, it is enough that you use the so-called CMD Viewer. This type of tool is nothing more than a program or an online application that allows you to easily view the content of the data stored in the CMD file. The first important thing is that you will need to download and install a dedicated application that supports the CMD format on your device. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the CMD file online in this case. This solution is more problematic, but also allows for more processing options for the CMD file. If you still cannot see the contents of the CMD file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, you can try to open your CMD file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension CMD.
The second way is to use a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If your CMD file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive.
