How to view CNC file?

It often happens that you only need to preview the contents of the CNC file, without the need to edit or process the data contained in it. Then the tools called CNC Viewer come in handy. This type of tool is nothing more than a program or an online application that allows you to easily view the content of the data stored in the CNC file. To view the content of the CNC file, select one of the available options:

Programs that support CNC file extension

Our CNC Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else One of them is to use software that works with the CNC file. You can try to open your CNC file with one of these applications. By using the dedicated software you will have more options, e.g. editing the CNC file or converting the CNC file to a different file format.

What are the pros and cons of such a solution?

The first important thing is that you will need to download and install a dedicated application that supports the CNC format on your device. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the CNC file online in this case. This solution is more problematic, but also allows for more processing options for the CNC file. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the CNC file - for the full list go to CNC File Opener

Other options

You haven't seen the content of your CNC file yet and you don't need additional software? Try other options. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of CNC with a normal "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the CNC file to some extent.

As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If your CNC file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the CNC file extension.
