There are times when you only need to display the contents of the CR1 file. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as CR1 Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the CR1 file. To view the content of the CR1 file you can use several options:
CR1 viewer did not handle your file? Take advantage of other options For starters, we suggest installing software that supports CR1 files You can try to open your CR1 file with one of these applications. If you choose to install software that supports CR1, you will have additional oppositions, such as converting the CR1 file or editing the CR1 file.
First of all, you need to know that you need to install specific software that supports CR1 files on your computer. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the CR1 file online in this case. This method is more complicated, but it offers more possibilities for working with the CR1 file. You can find some examples of dedicated software below, and the full list is here CR1 File Opener
If you still cannot see the contents of the CR1 file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, you can try to open your CR1 file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension CR1.
The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the CR1 file extension.
