It often happens that you only need to preview the contents of the DRE file, without the need to edit or process the data contained in it. In this case, it is enough that you use the so-called DRE Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the DRE file. To view the content of the DRE file you can use several options:

By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the DRE file and sometimes even convert the DRE file.
First of all, you need to know that you need to install specific software that supports DRE files on your computer. In this case, it is not possible to view the DRE file online. If you still cannot see the contents of the DRE file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, you can try to open your DRE file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension DRE.
As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. Go to the information page about the DRE file extension. to see what kind of data it contains.
