Sometimes you just need to see what is in the DVR file, without having to perform more complicated operations. Then the tools called DVR Viewer come in handy. This type of tool is nothing more than a program or an online application that allows you to easily view the content of the data stored in the DVR file. To view the content of the DVR file you can use several options:
If our DVR Viewer Online did not help you, you have a few more options. One of them is to use software that works with the DVR file. You can try to open your DVR file with one of these applications. By using the dedicated software you will have more options, e.g. editing the DVR file or converting the DVR file to a different file format.
Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the DVR file on your device. In this case, it is not possible to view the DVR file online. Here you will need more time to use this solution, but you will also have more options. You can find some examples of dedicated software below, and the full list is here DVR File Opener
If you still cannot see the contents of the DVR file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, you can try to open your DVR file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension DVR.
The second way is to use a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the DVR file extension.
