Sometimes you just need to see what is in the EKS file, without having to perform more complicated operations. Then the tools called EKS Viewer come in handy. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the EKS file. You have several options to view the contents of the EKS file:
If our EKS Viewer Online did not help you, you have a few more options. The first is to download the software that supports EKS files You can try to open your EKS file with one of these applications. By using the dedicated software you will have more options, e.g. editing the EKS file or converting the EKS file to a different file format.
First of all, you need to know that you need to install specific software that supports EKS files on your computer. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the EKS file online in this case. This solution is more problematic, but also allows for more processing options for the EKS file. You can find some examples of dedicated software below, and the full list is here EKS File Opener
If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the EKS file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of EKS with a normal "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension EKS.
The second way is to use a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If your EKS file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the EKS file extension.
