The first important thing is that you will need to download and install a dedicated application that supports the EVT format on your device. If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the EVT file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of EVT file with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension EVT.

As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If your EVT file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive. If you don't know what type of EVT file is, learn more about EVT file extension.
