Other ways to view the FG file

If you still cannot see the contents of the FG file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, you can try to open your FG file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the FG file to some extent.

The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive.
