How to view FSX file?

It often happens that you only need to preview the contents of the FSX file, without the need to edit or process the data contained in it. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as FSX Viewer. This type of tool is nothing more than a program or an online application that allows you to easily view the content of the data stored in the FSX file. You have several options to view the contents of the FSX file:

Software programs supporting files with FSX extension

Our FSX Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else One of them is to use software that works with the FSX file. Below are some examples of verified applications. By using the dedicated software you will have more options, e.g. editing the FSX file or converting the FSX file to a different file format.

Advantages and disadvantages of this solution

Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the FSX file on your device. In this case, it is not possible to view the FSX file online. This solution is more problematic, but also allows for more processing options for the FSX file. You can find some examples of dedicated software below, and the full list is here FSX File Opener

Other ways to view the FSX file

If you still cannot see the contents of the FSX file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, you can try to open your FSX file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the FSX file to some extent.

The second way is to use a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If your FSX file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the FSX file extension.
