There are times when you only need to display the contents of the GOLD file. In this case, it is enough that you use the so-called GOLD Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the GOLD file. To view the content of the GOLD file you can use several options:
If our GOLD Viewer Online did not help you, you have a few more options. For starters, we suggest installing software that supports GOLD files You can try to open your GOLD file with one of these applications. By using the dedicated software you will have more options, e.g. editing the GOLD file or converting the GOLD file to a different file format.
Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the GOLD file on your device. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the GOLD file online in this case. Here you will need more time to use this solution, but you will also have more options. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the GOLD file - for the full list go to GOLD File Opener
If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the GOLD file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, you can try to open your GOLD file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension GOLD.
As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. If you don't know what type of GOLD file is, learn more about GOLD file extension.
