Other ways to view the IIL file

You haven't seen the content of your IIL file yet and you don't need additional software? Try other options. A lot of file formats contain plain text data or packed data. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of IIL with a normal "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension IIL.

As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. Go to the information page about the IIL file extension. to see what kind of data it contains.
