It often happens that you only need to preview the contents of the JDF file, without the need to edit or process the data contained in it. Then the tools called JDF Viewer come in handy. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the JDF file. You have several options to view the contents of the JDF file:
JDF viewer did not handle your file? Take advantage of other options The first is to download the software that supports JDF files Below are some examples of verified applications. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the JDF file and sometimes even convert the JDF file.
Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the JDF file on your device. In this situation, unfortunately, you cannot see the JDF file online. This method is more complicated, but it offers more possibilities for working with the JDF file. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the JDF file - for the full list go to JDF File Opener
You haven't seen the content of your JDF file yet and you don't need additional software? Try other options. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of JDF with a normal "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the JDF file to some extent.
The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If your JDF file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive. If you don't know what type of JDF file is, learn more about JDF file extension.
