Sometimes you just need to see what is in the JGS file, without having to perform more complicated operations. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as JGS Viewer. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of JGS file with "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the JGS file to some extent.
