Sometimes you just need to see what is in the JS file, without having to perform more complicated operations. Then the tools called JS Viewer come in handy. JS viewer is some kind of simple tool that only allows you to view the contents of the JS file. To view the content of the JS file, select one of the available options:
Our JS Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else For starters, we suggest installing software that supports JS files You can try to open your JS file with one of these applications. By using the dedicated software you will have more options, e.g. editing the JS file or converting the JS file to a different file format.
Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the JS file on your device. In this case, it is not possible to view the JS file online. This method is more complicated, but it offers more possibilities for working with the JS file. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the JS file - for the full list go to JS File Opener
If you still cannot see the contents of the JS file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. A lot of file formats contain plain text data or packed data. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of JS file with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension JS.
The second way is to use a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If your JS file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the JS file extension.
