How to view MDI file?

There are times when you only need to display the contents of the MDI file. Then the tools called MDI Viewer come in handy. This type of tool is nothing more than a program or an online application that allows you to easily view the content of the data stored in the MDI file. To view the content of the MDI file, select one of the available options:

Software supporting MDI files

MDI viewer did not handle your file? Take advantage of other options The first is to download the software that supports MDI files Below are some examples of verified applications. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the MDI file and sometimes even convert the MDI file.

Advantages and disadvantages of dedicated software

Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the MDI file on your device. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the MDI file online in this case. Here you will need more time to use this solution, but you will also have more options. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the MDI file - for the full list go to MDI File Opener

Other possibilities to view the contents of the MDI file

If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the MDI file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of MDI file with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension MDI.

The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Check if you can open your file with eg Winrar. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the MDI file extension.
