If you still cannot see the contents of the NOR file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of NOR file with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension NOR.

As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip.
