Sometimes you just need to see what is in the RDP file, without having to perform more complicated operations. In this case, it is enough that you use the so-called RDP Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the RDP file. You have several options to view the contents of the RDP file:

If you still cannot see the contents of the RDP file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, you can try to open your RDP file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension RDP.
As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Check if you can open your file with eg Winrar.
