Software supporting RES files

If our RES Viewer Online did not help you, you have a few more options. One of them is to use software that works with the RES file. You can try to open your RES file with one of these applications. If you choose to install software that supports RES, you will have additional oppositions, such as converting the RES file or editing the RES file.

If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the RES file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of RES with a normal "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the RES file to some extent.

The second way is to use a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If your RES file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive. If you don't know what type of RES file is, learn more about RES file extension.
