Other possibilities to view the contents of the SCAP file

If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the SCAP file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of SCAP with a normal "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the SCAP file to some extent.
