There are times when you only need to display the contents of the SUN4 file. In this case, it is enough that you use the so-called SUN4 Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the SUN4 file. To view the content of the SUN4 file you can use several options:
Our SUN4 Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else One of them is to use software that works with the SUN4 file. Below are some examples of verified applications. By using the dedicated software you will have more options, e.g. editing the SUN4 file or converting the SUN4 file to a different file format.
The first important thing is that you will need to download and install a dedicated application that supports the SUN4 format on your device. In this situation, unfortunately, you cannot see the SUN4 file online. This method is more complicated, but it offers more possibilities for working with the SUN4 file. You can find some examples of dedicated software below, and the full list is here SUN4 File Opener
If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the SUN4 file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A lot of file formats contain plain text data or packed data. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of SUN4 with a normal "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension SUN4.
As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Check if you can open your file with eg Winrar. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the SUN4 file extension.
