How to view UDI file?

Sometimes you just need to see what is in the UDI file, without having to perform more complicated operations. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as UDI Viewer. UDI viewer is some kind of simple tool that only allows you to view the contents of the UDI file. You have several options to view the contents of the UDI file:

Programs that support UDI file extension

Our UDI Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else One of them is to use software that works with the UDI file. Here are some sample programs that can help you. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the UDI file and sometimes even convert the UDI file.

Advantages and disadvantages of this solution

The first important thing is that you will need to download and install a dedicated application that supports the UDI format on your device. In this case, it is not possible to view the UDI file online. This method is more complicated, but it offers more possibilities for working with the UDI file. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the UDI file - for the full list go to UDI File Opener

Other ways to view the UDI file

If you still cannot see the contents of the UDI file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, you can try to open your UDI file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This solution does not guarantee that the problem will be solved, but it will often allow you to view the data in the UDI file to some extent.

As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the UDI file extension.
