How to view VRML file?

Sometimes you just need to see what is in the VRML file, without having to perform more complicated operations. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as VRML Viewer. To view the content of the VRML file you can use several options:

Other ways to view the VRML file

If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the VRML file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of VRML with a normal "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension VRML.

As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the VRML file extension.
