There are times when you only need to display the contents of the VSTDIR file. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as VSTDIR Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the VSTDIR file. To view the content of the VSTDIR file you can use several options:

If you choose to install software that supports VSTDIR, you will have additional oppositions, such as converting the VSTDIR file or editing the VSTDIR file.
Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the VSTDIR file on your device. You haven't seen the content of your VSTDIR file yet and you don't need additional software? Try other options. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of VSTDIR file with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension VSTDIR.
As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the VSTDIR file extension.
