To edit EFI file, we strongly recommend installing software that works with EFI files. There are many tools known as EFI Online Editors, but it is not certain that they operate in a way that keeps the data contained in the file safe.

This is definitely the surest way. Choose one of the programs that support the EFI file extension, open your file and check the editing options. It's safest to download the software from the developer's website. You will find links to the software developers' websites on the subpage of each program. Most of the file formats are simply text format saved under a different extension - so you can open them e.g. with Windows Notepad But beware - making manual changes to the EFI file or another may result in its damage. If you make inappropriate changes and save the file, it may happen that you do not reopen the EFI file.. It is safest to use software that was created to edit files in the EFI format.
