To edit ESO file, we strongly recommend installing software that works with ESO files. Using tools such as ESO Online Editors gives less editing possibilities than software adapted to work with the ESO file format.
The installation of the program that supports the ESO file does not guarantee that the file can be edited. Additional information about the ESO file extension can be found here.
This is definitely the surest way. Use any of the programs that support the ESO file to check if it allows you to edit the file.
