To edit TAR file, we strongly recommend installing software that works with TAR files. There are many tools known as TAR Online Editors, but it is not certain that they operate in a way that keeps the data contained in the file safe.
The installation of the program that supports the TAR file does not guarantee that the file can be edited. Additional information about the TAR file extension can be found here.
This is the best way. Choose one of the programs that support the TAR file extension, open your file and check the editing options.
