There are times when you only need to display the contents of the ADF file. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as ADF Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the ADF file. To view the content of the ADF file you can use several options:
Our ADF Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else For starters, we suggest installing software that supports ADF files You can try to open your ADF file with one of these applications. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the ADF file and sometimes even convert the ADF file.
First of all, you need to know that you need to install specific software that supports ADF files on your computer. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the ADF file online in this case. Here you will need more time to use this solution, but you will also have more options. Meet a few applications designed to work with ADF and go to the full list - ADF File Opener
If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the ADF file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A lot of file formats contain plain text data or packed data. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of ADF file with "Notepad". This solution does not guarantee that the problem will be solved, but it will often allow you to view the data in the ADF file to some extent.
The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the ADF file extension.
