If you still cannot see the contents of the AFT file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, you can try to open your AFT file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension AFT.

The second way is to use a data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of. If you don't know what type of AFT file is, learn more about AFT file extension.
