Sometimes you just need to see what is in the ALLOW file, without having to perform more complicated operations. In this case, it is enough that you use the so-called ALLOW Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the ALLOW file. To view the content of the ALLOW file you can use several options:
Our ALLOW Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else For starters, we suggest installing software that supports ALLOW files Below are some examples of verified applications. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the ALLOW file and sometimes even convert the ALLOW file.
First of all, you need to know that you need to install specific software that supports ALLOW files on your computer. In this situation, unfortunately, you cannot see the ALLOW file online. This method is more complicated, but it offers more possibilities for working with the ALLOW file. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the ALLOW file - for the full list go to ALLOW File Opener
If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the ALLOW file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A lot of file formats contain plain text data or packed data. In this case, you can try to open your ALLOW file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This solution does not guarantee that the problem will be solved, but it will often allow you to view the data in the ALLOW file to some extent.
As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the ALLOW file extension.
