Other ways to view the APPX file

If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the APPX file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of APPX file with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension APPX.

The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. If you don't know what type of APPX file is, learn more about APPX file extension.
