If you still cannot see the contents of the CFO file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of CFO with a normal "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the CFO file to some extent.

The second way is to use a data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If your CFO file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive.
