Sometimes you just need to see what is in the CMS file, without having to perform more complicated operations. Then the tools called CMS Viewer come in handy. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the CMS file. To view the content of the CMS file, select one of the available options:

Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the CMS file on your device. In this case, it is not possible to view the CMS file online. You haven't seen the content of your CMS file yet and you don't need additional software? Try other options. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of CMS file with "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the CMS file to some extent.
As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of. If you don't know what type of CMS file is, learn more about CMS file extension.
