Other ways to view the DLS file

You haven't seen the content of your DLS file yet and you don't need additional software? Try other options. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of DLS with a normal "Notepad". This solution does not guarantee that the problem will be solved, but it will often allow you to view the data in the DLS file to some extent.

As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of. If you don't know what type of DLS file is, learn more about DLS file extension.
