How to view GP3 file?

It often happens that you only need to preview the contents of the GP3 file, without the need to edit or process the data contained in it. Then the tools called GP3 Viewer come in handy. This type of tool is nothing more than a program or an online application that allows you to easily view the content of the data stored in the GP3 file. To view the content of the GP3 file, select one of the available options:

Software programs supporting files with GP3 extension

Our GP3 Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else The first is to download the software that supports GP3 files You can try to open your GP3 file with one of these applications. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the GP3 file and sometimes even convert the GP3 file.

Advantages and disadvantages of dedicated software

Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the GP3 file on your device. In this situation, unfortunately, you cannot see the GP3 file online. This method is more complicated, but it offers more possibilities for working with the GP3 file. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the GP3 file - for the full list go to GP3 File Opener

Other options

If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the GP3 file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A lot of file formats contain plain text data or packed data. In this case, you can try to open your GP3 file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This solution does not guarantee that the problem will be solved, but it will often allow you to view the data in the GP3 file to some extent.

The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Check if you can open your file with eg Winrar. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the GP3 file extension.
