How to view GUI file?

It often happens that you only need to preview the contents of the GUI file, without the need to edit or process the data contained in it. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as GUI Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the GUI file. You have several options to view the contents of the GUI file:

Software supporting GUI files

Our GUI Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else The first is to download the software that supports GUI files You can try to open your GUI file with one of these applications. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the GUI file and sometimes even convert the GUI file.

Advantages and disadvantages of dedicated software

Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the GUI file on your device. In this situation, unfortunately, you cannot see the GUI file online. This solution is more problematic, but also allows for more processing options for the GUI file. You can find some examples of dedicated software below, and the full list is here GUI File Opener

Other possibilities to view the contents of the GUI file

If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the GUI file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, you can try to open your GUI file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This solution does not guarantee that the problem will be solved, but it will often allow you to view the data in the GUI file to some extent.

As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If your GUI file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the GUI file extension.
