Other possibilities to view the contents of the IQM file

If you still cannot see the contents of the IQM file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, you can try to open your IQM file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the IQM file to some extent.

As in the case of Notepad, you can also use the data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If your IQM file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive.
