If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the MMAS file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of MMAS file with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension MMAS.

The second way is to use a data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If your MMAS file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive.
