There are times when you only need to display the contents of the POLICY file. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as POLICY Viewer. POLICY viewer is some kind of simple tool that only allows you to view the contents of the POLICY file. To view the content of the POLICY file, select one of the available options:
Our POLICY Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else One of them is to use software that works with the POLICY file. Here are some sample programs that can help you. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the POLICY file and sometimes even convert the POLICY file.
First of all, you need to know that you need to install specific software that supports POLICY files on your computer. In this case, it is not possible to view the POLICY file online. If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the POLICY file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A lot of file formats contain plain text data or packed data. In this case, you can try to open your POLICY file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This solution does not guarantee that the problem will be solved, but it will often allow you to view the data in the POLICY file to some extent.
The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Check if you can open your file with eg Winrar. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the POLICY file extension.
