It often happens that you only need to preview the contents of the RLE file, without the need to edit or process the data contained in it. Then the tools called RLE Viewer come in handy. You haven't seen the content of your RLE file yet and you don't need additional software? Try other options. A lot of file formats contain plain text data or packed data. If this is the case, you can try to preview the contents of RLE file with "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension RLE.
The second way is to use a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the RLE file extension.
