If you still cannot see the contents of the RODL file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. Many file types are simply text files or data archives. In this case, you can try to open your RODL file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the RODL file to some extent.

The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Check if you can open your file with eg Winrar. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of.
