How to view SITES file?

Sometimes you just need to see what is in the SITES file, without having to perform more complicated operations. In this case, it is enough that you use the so-called SITES Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the SITES file. To view the content of the SITES file you can use several options:

Software supporting SITES files

SITES viewer did not handle your file? Take advantage of other options The first is to download the software that supports SITES files You can try to open your SITES file with one of these applications. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the SITES file and sometimes even convert the SITES file.

Advantages and disadvantages of this solution

Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the SITES file on your device. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the SITES file online in this case. This solution is more problematic, but also allows for more processing options for the SITES file. You can find some examples of dedicated software below, and the full list is here SITES File Opener

Other options

If you haven't been able to preview the contents of the SITES file yet, or you don't want to install any dedicated programming to handle these files, you can try something else. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, you can try to open your SITES file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the SITES file to some extent.

The second way is to use a data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If our theory proves to be correct, you should see the tree of files contained in the archive. Go to the information page about the SITES file extension. to see what kind of data it contains.
