Sometimes you just need to see what is in the CT8 file, without having to perform more complicated operations. Then the tools called CT8 Viewer come in handy. CT8 viewer is some kind of simple tool that only allows you to view the contents of the CT8 file. To view the content of the CT8 file, select one of the available options:

The second attempt may be with a data archiving program. Open Winrar or Winzip and try to unpack your file. If your CT8 file belongs to the archived files category, you will see a list of files inside the archive.
