If you still cannot see the contents of the GVR file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, it is likely that you will be able to view the contents of GVR with a normal "Notepad". I can at least to some extent let you see the contents of the file with the extension GVR.
