There are times when you only need to display the contents of the QIF file. Then do not install dedicated software and use tools such as QIF Viewer. Such a program allows us only to display the contents of the QIF file. You have several options to view the contents of the QIF file:
Our QIF Viewer did not live up to what I expected? Choose something else The first is to download the software that supports QIF files You can try to open your QIF file with one of these applications. By choosing the option to install dedicated software, you will also be able to e.g. edit the QIF file and sometimes even convert the QIF file.
Note, however, that this solution requires you to download and install the software dedicated to handling the QIF file on your device. Unfortunately, it is not possible to see the QIF file online in this case. This solution is more problematic, but also allows for more processing options for the QIF file. Below you will find a list of example applications that are dedicated to working with the QIF file - for the full list go to QIF File Opener
If you still cannot see the contents of the QIF file, but also don't see the need to install dedicated software, then there are other solutions. A large proportion of the data formats are simply archives or plain text files. In this case, you can try to open your QIF file with the simplest text editor, for example with "Notepad". This does not guarantee success, but in most cases it will allow you to see the contents of the QIF file to some extent.
The second way is to use a data archiving program. Try to open your file with e.g. Winrar or Winzip. If the file is a data archive, you should see what individual files it consists of. To get information about what kind of data it is, go to the subpage with information about the QIF file extension.
